LET’S KEEP LEARNING MOVING FORWARD
Don’t let school closures create excessive learning gaps. Let’s work together to keep learning moving forward at all times.
WORKING TOGETHER, WE CAN HARNESS THE POWER OF FREE AND OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES CUSTOMIZED TO YOUR STATE
SAVE MONEY
Today, leading foundations and organizations like Better Lessons, Common Lit, Khan Academy, and numerous others are creating free resources in all subject areas including workforce development and career exploration. Using these resources can save your districts, teachers, and families money.
SAVE TIME
During a survey, teachers shared they spend over 10 hours a week searching the internet outside of their work day looking for supplemental lesson ideas. In ZUNI they can find what they need in 3 clicks instead of spending 3 hours searching the internet.
INSPIRE NEW IDEAS
Using OERs is a great way to inspire new ideas for educators, students, and families. Having easy access to sites like Wonderopolis’s Wonder of the Day, or News for Kids make it easy to have conversations about relevant and current topics to teach reading, history, science and other topics.
SUPPORTING STUDENTS, FAMILIES, AND EDUCATORS REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY ARE RECEIVING THEIR EDUCATION
Harnessing the power of OERs for ALL STUDENTS with ZUNI Learning Tree’s easy-to-use online learning platform means everyone, regardless of where they are receiving their education: Public, Private, Charter, Homeschool, Learning Pods, Micro Schools, After School, Summer School, Tutoring programs, Virtual, In-Person or other settings, has a foundation from which users can engage with quality educational resources anywhere, anytime.
ONE PLACE
Education is filled with silos making it difficult for everyone to collaborate to improve student outcomes, inspire learning, support educators, and increase parental engagement. ZUNI Learning Tree’s Platform not only makes it easy to provide EQUAL access but it also helps bridge the silos making it easier to be more efficeint and effective.

SPECIAL REPORT
How Can We Improve Teacher Decision-Making in the Use of Open Education Resources?
The greatest barrier to the effective use of Open Education Resources (OERs) is the time required to locate, identify, evaluate, and integrate them into existing instruction. Researchers have found that locating credible OERs was time consuming, and in some cases, impractical due to the confusing multitude of repositories and distribution channels.
